Jumpstart Back To School Health Fair

Des Moines Public Schools, the Polk County Health Department and several local agencies will hold a Back to School Health Fair next week for students in grades K-12.

The event will be held:

Wednesday,
July 18
1:00 to 6:30 PM
(East High students invited at 11:00 AM)
East High School
815 E. 13^th Street

All services are provided at no cost and include physicals, immunizations, dental screenings, and lead tests. Health professionals and school district staff also will provide helpful information about applying for health and dental insurance, food assistance sign-up and after-school programming. Participants also will
receive a backpack full of school supplies.

Students must be accompanied by their parent or guardian. Immunization records are required for children needing immunizations.
