Hanawalt Celebrates Centennial with Community Open House
Hanawalt Elementary School is hosting a community open house to celebrate the school’s centennial.
The open house will be held:
Sunday, April 21
1:00 to 3:00 PM

225 56th Street
Guests will be able to tour the school and refreshments will be served by the Hanawalt PTA. A media presentation about the history of the school has been prepared. Items from the school’s 75th anniversary time capsule and past yearbooks also will be available for viewing.
“Hanawalt School has a proud tradition in our community,” said Andrew Burg, Hanawalt Elementary School Principal. “The open house centennial celebration will bring together former and current students and families to share their memories of our wonderful school.”
