Elementary School Registration Day Scheduled
To enhance and assist with online registration, Des Moines Public Schools will host a registration day at all elementary schools on July 30, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Staff will be available to assist families who do not have access to a computer, or who have general questions.
“At the beginning of July, we began offering online registration with much success,” said Elementary School Director Susan Tallman. “Now we want to focus on families who do not have access to technology, have limited experience with it, or may need some additional one-on-one support.”
There are three ways to register online:
- Current DMPS families with parent portal accounts will find a personalized link on Infinite Campus. Follow the link to verify information and upload relevant documents. Families without an Infinite Campus account should contact their school office. If you cannot remember your password or have any other questions about registration — Please contact your school. DO NOT CALL the Welcome Center. They will not be able to assist you. School contact information is located in the “Schools” drop down menu at the top of this page.
- Families new to the district should contact the DMPS Welcome Center by calling 515-242-7371, or visiting 1301 2nd Avenue in Des Moines.
- Those who need help with the online registration process should visit their child’s elementary school on Thursday, July 30 between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Families who need assistance but are unable to attend on July 30 should contact their school’s office.
