IT Blueprint: Planning for the Future

For Des Moines Public Schools, technology planning is the culmination of a series of tactical steps undertaken throughout the school district to support everything from the education underway in our classrooms to the operations of our schools. And, it’s a process that is always planning ahead to grow and improve.

Looking toward the future, the school district has begun work to develop a multi-year strategic plan to align our technology goals: the DMPS IT Blueprint.

To clearly define the start of the IT Blueprint, DMPS is assessing the use of technology throughout the school district to better understand and address how technology can make a positive difference in the effective and efficient operation of both the schools and the district administration.
