Read, set, GOURD! 6th grade science students at Merrill Middle School held “gourd” cart races on Thursday as a culmination of modeling and design unit. Students created a go-cart at home with the body consisting of a fruit or vegetable, and the rest was up to them! The students will be assessed on their data interpretation that will be recorded during the races.
