Students, teachers and parents – along with marching bands and cheerleaders – took part in the annual event. In addition, School Board members Rob Barron, Connie Boesen, Teree Caldwell-Johnson and Cindy Elsbernd were joined by DMPS administrators and AmeriCorps members in representing DMPS and promoting the return next year of Moore Elementary School to the Beaverdale community. And thank you, Des Moines, for the great reception throughout the parade.
