Lincoln High School graduate Miss Iowa 2014 Aly Olson told Harding Middle School 6th graders growing up in Des Moines schools gave her an advantage. She said being exposed to different cultures, while having access to an advanced education at Central Academy prepared her for the world beyond Iowa.
