DMPS teachers and students are completing research at Iowa State University through the Research Experience for Teachers program, the Young Engineers & Scientists program, and the EPSCoR Summer Academy for middle school STEM teachers. These programs are designed to bring science from Iowa State University back to the classrooms to prepare DMPS students with STEM related experiences.
