Dr. Emiliano Mroue (2014 World Food Prize Young Entrepreneur) and Dr. Ken Culver (Scientist with Novartis and Hoover alumnus) visited Hoover on October 13th and 14th.

They gave a Distinguished Lecture Series on Tuesday where the two discussed their organizations, the work being done in a variety of countries, and their passion for using a STEM education to benefit people in countries that need support.

On October 14th select students were invited for a brief discussion with visiting experts.

On several occasions during the week of Oct 12th, visitors from the WFP were in the building to see the great STEM work being done in Hoover classrooms.
