Students took part in the Principal Charity Classic Media Day through the First Tee program.

Defending champion, Tom Pernice Jr., was back to Des Moines following his victory in 2014. Pernice hosted a Golf & Healthy Habits Clinic for the DMPS students in attendance.

The Principal Charity Classic is also announced a partnership with Blank Children’s Hospital, The First Tee of Greater Des Moines, Des Moines Public Schools and Live Healthy Iowa to launch a special health initiative to be held during tournament week.
