Des Moines Area Regional Transit (DART) buses service several DMPS middle and high school routes. For information about DART routes serving schools, please visit their website.

Eligible and assigned students are issued a “Ride DART Free” sticker or image for their student ID allowing access to regular and special to/from school DART routes.

All other middle and high school students may ride regular DART routes with their student ID after 4:00 PM on weekdays, on weekends, and during breaks at no charge (no sticker needed).
